Frequently Asked Questions
What if my DDC disconnects from Bluetooth?
- If your DDC does happen to disconnect from your phone's Bluetooth, it will automatically reconnect once your phone is back within range.
What if it starts raining halfway through my track session?
- In order to reset the DDC's "knowledge" of your vehicle's capabilities, you can simply turn your DDC off, and immediately power it back on - this will reset your DDC's dataset, and it will then rebuild a model of your vehicle based upon the new driving conditions.
What Do Red vs. Green Lights Tell Me?
The RED bar shows the capability of your car - how fast could be going right now in this condition. The DDC is constantly taking measurements and making a model of your vehicle to improve its understanding of the vehicle and the track. The max capability changes throughout the lap since different places on the track are faster or slower.
GREEN shows the percent of peak performance at which you are currently running. This is a fraction of the RED maximum. As you drive, the red bar will change to show the limit of the car in the current conditions - the best drivers stay continually near the car's limit. So, you should push the car harder until the green bar nearly takes over the red, and try to maintain it there. When you are consistently keeping all but one or two lights green, consider increasing the unit's 'SKILL' setting.
